Today, I am traveling in Padmavat Express 14208. Because of my college exams, I couldn’t book a confirmed ticket earlier. However, I had to go home for Diwali, so I decided to try for a Tatkal ticket. Unfortunately, due to the heavy traffic load, the booking application’s server crashed completely.

If I had tried the next day, it would have been Saturday, followed by Sunday and then Monday — Diwali day. So, I thought, why not travel with a general ticket this time? But when I reached the station, the scene was totally different from what I had imagined.

The entire station was crowded. As soon as I stepped onto the platform, I was completely amazed — it was packed from one end to another! My brother was traveling with me, so we made a quick plan. I decided to take care of the luggage while my brother took the responsibility of finding seats. After some struggle, we somehow managed to sit down.

Friends, today’s journey has been both unforgettable and challenging. The experience of traveling in a general compartment during the festive rush is something I will remember for a long time.

Honestly, after this experience, I don’t think I’ll ever choose general class again — especially not during festivals like Diwali.
